Sweet Matilda came all the way from the UK with one big goal—independent sitting. At the start of her intensive, she could only sit propped for a few seconds and relied on her family to catch her if she lost balance.
~
Over the course of two weeks, we focused on building her trunk strength in all directions and teaching her how to recognize and respond to her own movements. We even used the crash pad (with parent permission!) so she could safely learn what happens when balance is lost—because sometimes real learning happens in the falling, too.

By the end of her intensive, Matilda wasn’t just sitting—
✨ She was actively keeping herself upright
✨ Showing protective reactions when tipping to the side
✨ And even pulling herself forward if she started falling back!
~
Her family saw so much progress, they’re already planning their next trip back.
