Your child may not be standing—
because of this one overlooked thing. 👀

When this sweet pea came to us two weeks ago, she was unable to bear weight on her feet. On her first attempt at standing, her hips stayed flexed and she lost the ability to keep her chin tucked down— two big clues that her hip flexors were tight and her body was compensating wherever it could.

We immediately started a targeted stretching program for her hip flexors—and taught her mama how to do it each night at home.

Originally scheduled for one week, they were seeing so much progress (and we had a cancellation!) so they stayed for two.

Now? She’s rocking exercises like squat-to-stand and half-kneel transitions—movements that were completely out of reach just days earlier.

This is why, if your schedule allows, two weeks is always better than one. The gains compound, the learning deepens, and we have more time to problem-solve movement patterns that may be holding your child back.

💡 Is your child struggling to pull to stand? Perhaps they are pulling up on the top of their foot? Tight hip flexors might be the reason they can’t separate their legs to get upright.
