Backpacking The Pecos Wilderness -- A 4 night, 5 day adventure deep into the Pecos Wilderness (Santa Fe National Forest, New Mexico) with my good friend, Manzano Man from the "ManzanoMan Adventure" YouTube Channel.

Episode 1 of 5 -- Arrived at Pancheula Campground around 9:30am. Elevation: 8,300 FT. to 10,200 FT (1,900 FT gain)

Hiked the Doc Weiler Trail #259 about 5 miles in and set up a camp. Wildflowers were everywhere! Steep switchbacks start the trail. After a steep 2 miles, the rest of the way was thick Aspen forest. There is no water access along this stretch of trail so it was carrying your own water through this section.
