The second great railroad fire of Gary Indiana with bomb trains running by the flames

Описание к видео The second great railroad fire of Gary Indiana with bomb trains running by the flames

On 5/3/2023 an underpowered Kirk yard pulldown set ignited a lineside fire at the busiest freight railroad corridor in the country, Clark Road in Gary, IN. While certainly smaller and less disruptive than the massive fire closer to Buffington Harbor that engulfed many acres not long before which shut down rail service including Amtrak, this fire would be contained rather quickly and burn out into the scars from the first fire.

For those that stick around, note one freight has 2 passenger cars in its consist. Several IC SD70s in the mix as well.
