This is the first book I've selected for my 100 novels that represent 20th Century Science Fiction.

The conceit is that if a library decided it could only have 100 novels representing 20th Century Science Fiction on its shelves, which 100 novels do I think they should be? These are not necessarily the best, nor my favorites, but ones that I think are representative of the ideas, tropes, subgenres, and so on, of 20th Century Science Fiction, as well as novels that were influential within sci-fi bit also beyond sci-fi, or won both the Hugo and Nebula awards, or transcended the genre in some way.
