hello my loves ♥️
for as long as i can remember, i have always strived to be a type A, an organized, detail-oriented, always clean and put together kind of woman and the last couple years, i came to this realization that trying this hard to be a type A person has caused me more stress than just embracing the fact that I simply am not. while i do enjoy having a clean and decluttered home, i love me an organized planner and love having control in my life, if i’m forcing myself so hard to be something I’m not, it ultimately leads to faster burnout and in the end lack of happiness in my life. 🙃
i wanted to share my thoughts and while I’m still learning to let go, have been much happier now that i’m letting go of perfectionism, releasing control, and actually living slower. because honestly? i got tired of constantly feeling like i had to do more, be more, achieve more and my stress levels were screaming at me to chill. so today I’m sharing what happened when i stopped forcing myself to be Type A and started living life with a little more flow 🌸
do you resonate with anything I chatted about in this video? are you a type a or b? i’d love to know in the comments below! 👇
