4 Analog Chorus/Vibrato Pedals (JHS, Walrus, Greenhouse, JAM)

Описание к видео 4 Analog Chorus/Vibrato Pedals (JHS, Walrus, Greenhouse, JAM)

A thorough comparison of four boutique analog chorus/vibrato pedals.

JHS Emperor v2
(based on the obscure Arion SCH-1, this has a tilt EQ, a volume control to compensate for volume loss in vibrato mode, and a tap tempo footswitch which can also be activated externally. Also it can be buffered or true bypass, set by an internal switch.)

Walrus Audio Julia
(r/guitarpedals' favourite chorus pedal, available with various limited edition artwork - this one's unique to Guitar Center - the Julia has switchable waveforms, a Lag control for the LFO delay, and a d-c-v knob that blends between full dry, chorus, and full wet vibrato)

Greenhouse Stonefish
(Less well known effects brand but still stands up to the others, the Stonefish has a Width control for the LFO delay, a Tone knob to roll off the highs, and if you set Rate and Depth to zero, it turns off the LFO competely and you can use Width to sweep the stationary chorus effect)

JAM Pedals WaterFall
(Reworking of the classic Boss CE-2, with an additional +/- setting that 'thickens' the chorus for a more modern sound)
