I always notice beginners struggling with this posture. I thought of making a video with Preparatory poses which helps prepare not only body but also mind to get into the posture. Very often with inverted poses (since the body is upside down) it's only the fear which is an obstacle.

Here are few benefits of Sarvangasana:

1. Mother of all yogasanas
2. Balances thyroid and parathyroid glands
3. Helps to get relief in common cold, bronchitis, asthma, palpitations and severe headache
4. Activates parasympathetic nervous system which helps in relieving hypertension, irritation, short temper, nervous breakdown and insomnia, Improves digestion
5. Highly recommended asana for urinary disorders, menstrual troubles, piles and hernia.
6. As the name suggests, sarva - anga - asana. Which clearly means this pose works on overall human system. 
Increases hair growth
7.Last but not the least it's an anti-aging posture :))

Contraindications:
1. High BP
2. Menstrations
3. Pregnancy
4. Severe back and neck conditions
