Conversations shared here showcases insightful narratives and behind-the-scenes action to bridge the gap between student and work life. Looking at future episodes, TAS Publications team hopes to feature more of those who work within the department. ABOUT OUR GUEST:
Saul Kim Min Kyu

Saul Kim is an architectural designer and founder of Saul Kim Studio in Seoul, specializing in unconventional design solutions for global clients. He holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, a Bachelor in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), and a Diploma in Architecture from Singapore Polytechnic.

As a Visiting Professor at Hongik University and a Lecturer at Kaywon University of Art and Design, Saul is deeply committed to education. His dedication extends to his role as an instructor at Domestika, where he mentors a thriving community of nearly 3000 students.

Saul believes in an interdisciplinary approach to design, developing unique and multifaceted works that span various scales and fields. He values the power of storytelling, imagining and speculating on narratives within design that traverse the realms of architecture and material craft. Using both analog and digital tools, he interrogates urban tectonics and reveals the narrative potential of nascent spaces.

His 'Architecture Anomaly' series, an experimental architectural autobiography, has gained recognition online. Saul consistently strives to work on projects that address social and cultural issues, contributing to the wider community with designs that make tangible differences in people's lives.
