I went to Old Bawn Community School, Tallaght and in 2008 the library were throwing out all their old VHS tapes so I asked to save some of them.

on the back of the vhs: The 27 minute video Tallaght Growing Up is based on the contributions and experiences of the local people of Tallaght. With the Workbook Tallaght Growing Up it provides an educational resource for schools, youth groups, community organisations and others involved in education and development in Tallaght. It should also be of interest to other communities with similar or contrasting experiences. The resource park is intended to inform local residents and others about Tallaght, it's history and development, whilst also stimulating discussion on a range of contemporary issues. It builds on the rich and varied experience of people living in Tallaght and provides a framework within which to consider the current status of Tallaght and hopes and plans for its future development.
