You've got a smoker but never have time to use it during the week.... I know the feeling. That's why I love making smoked pork tenderloin. I can have it on and off the grill in about an hour and its PERFECT! Today I am going to share a super simple recipe for some great bacon wrapped pork tenderloin and I am smoking it on my Char-Griller Grand Champ Offset Smoker! This Pork tenderloin recipe is so easy to prep and only takes a few minutes. Trim off the very little fat that's on there and remove the silver skin. For this recipe I am using my Meat Church Honey Hog BBQ rub ( https://amzn.to/3htHr6u ). After a generous coating of bbq rub I wrapped with bacon, making sure to overlap about half the slice of bacon!

For a weekday cook, I am always looking to save time, so I used my Grill Blazers to get those coal red hot REAL FAST ( https://grillblazer.com/?ref=oJRvbEGC... ). I got the Char Griller Grand Champ fired up and sitting at 250F. Tossed in a few chunks of apple and cherry wood and its time to roll coal!

At 250F smoked pork tenderloin will take around an hour or so. Some people pump the temp up to 275F and thats fine too... I just wanted more smoke today. Using an instant read like my Thermapen, I'm looking for the internal temperature to hit 130F and thats when I sauce with an easy and favorite bbq sauce: For me that the Sticky Fingers Carolina Sweet BBQ Sauce ( https://amzn.to/3jRHl9P ). I let the grilled pork tenderloin go a little longer so that the sauce caramelizes and I pull them around 141-142F. I cover them with foil and let them carry over to 145F.

Slice and serve! Dang these smoked pork tenderloins were delicious, JUICY, and down right EASY! If you are in a time crunch but still want to use your smoker, then smoked pork tenderloins are the perfect go to! In fact, I always keep a couple in my freezer!

Now remember, these recipes are more about the food than the smoker... it doesn't matter if you have a pellet grill, pellet smoker, charcoal grill, offset smoker, electric smoker, etc. It doesn't matter if you have a Char-Griller Gravity 980 or a Masterbuilt Gravity Series.... Or a Traeger, Pit Boss, Camp Chef pellet grill, Yoder smokers, Lone Star Grillz.... All of these recipes can translate to ANY grill or smoker, even this bbq pork tenderloin!
