Hypothesis Driven OCT Engineering

This is part of the OCT tutorial series. Hypothesis driven research is desperately needed in OCT research. The last talk was on basic and clinical hypothesis driven research. This talk deals with hypothesis drive engineering, which has been critical to our success, including funding. In this author's opinion much more hypothesis driven research (using the scientific method) has been needed, for 20 years, in OCT basic research, clinical research, and engineering. The scientific method has often been lost and I believe this has hurt the field badly.
