West Midlands Railway's SURPRISINGLY AMAZING BRAND NEW DIESEL Train, The Class 196 "Civity"!

After a delay of over two years, WMR's new Class 196 trains have now finally entered service, initially running on the Birmingham to Shrewsbury route during weekday morning peaks as part of the fleet's "soft launch", with today (17/10/22) being the very first day of service. Consequently, I jumped at the chance to board the very first service at Shrewsbury and run the full length of the line to give these trains a go... and I was pleasantly surprised! So join me as we take a look at the new trains to grace the West Midlands!
