Описание к видео Michael Collins Part 1 1890 to 1917

Directed and edited by Marcus Howard. Part 1. Members of Michael Collins family and historians and book authors Joseph EA Connell Jr, Tim Pat Coogan, Marcus Howard and members of the Collins 22 Society recount the early stage of his life from childhood, those who influenced him, London, the 1916 Rising and his thoughts on it, his time in Frongoch, and how he started to become the famous icon of Irish history. The film attempts to humanise Collins and gives a great insight into what kind of man he actually was. This is the first part of a series which will also look at the War of Independence and Civil War in future parts. In tribute to John Quaid.
