Vietnam Day 17, Hoa Binh - Wow...!!! Just a perfect day in this small city...

How was this day in Hoa Binh...just bloody perfect. A morning visit to the temple, steak and eggs for breakfast, a visit to the gym, a lesson in making coconut coffee, a dinner of pork kebab and Thai salad, and a long evening walk along the river - that's about as perfect as a day in my life can get.

This is just my favourite place in the world right now...and this day was just the epitome of why. What are the things I love most in the world apart from my best friends and close family - Asia, mountains, quiet spaces, great coffee and food, a place with no tourists, where nothing is aimed at me for monetary gain, where people are just 'naturally' friendly. A place where I feel at peace and fully alive at the same time, a place where I can do everything with ease, from renting a motorbike and getting a hotel room to finding great food, gyms, and places to chill out.

This place hits every box I have, the gyms are amazing, the people...I can't tell you how great the people are here - you'll just have to experience it for yourselves.
