TECHNICAL NOTES

🛑DID YOU COCK IT RIGHT?🛑

   • Red Ryder Fix: The Gap

⚠️DON'T TRY AND REMOVE STOCK AND TRIGGER. BIG NO-NO ON EITHER OF THESE JAMS. TRIGGER GETS SUCKED INSIDE.⚠️

⚠️COCK IT 7 CLUCKS. AVOID FAKE JAM⚠️
   • Red Ryder Fix: Fake Jam

Plunger dislocation is DEAD, SILENT trigger, when cocking it, and droopy lever. No clicking. No ratcheting or clicking from trigger. No tension on trigger.

▶️ HOLD trigger back, all the way, tightly.

▶️ The trigger anti-bear trap NEEDS TO BE down or the plunger will CATCH ARM and suck trigger into the gun. Gun Kaput. Tape trigger back.

Anti-bear trap dislocation is more serious. It is IDENTIFIED by silent bear trap; listen to side with ear. The fix here is THEORETICAL.

I have, in tests, pulled the arm off plunger with pick - WHEN IT IS NORMAL. I never attempted it on real bear trap dislocation.

▶️Take lever off and flip gun onto back.

▶️ Use curved pick to come in side ways and try your best to grab bear arm and PULL UP. It resets it.

▶️Oil plunger plate while lever is off. then sides and front of trigger. Put back on lever.
