Today, we have 8 hearings, including an evidentiary hearing for custody, with a couple where
Dad has been given temporary custody of the children and Mom has supervised visitation until the
outcome of their trial, due to a CPS investigation into allegations of abuse by Mom’s boyfriend &
threatening and unstable behaviour by Mom.


Mom claims that all of those allegations are unfounded and Dad’s lying about everything. She says
they had previously agreed that she could have custody of their daughter and Dad could keep their son. She says she should get the child simply because, “she wants her!”


Dad says that Mom has threatened self-harm when she doesn’t get her own way and that she also
recently came and took their daughter and is refusing to return her despite the court order.
