Taking Our Pooch on the Seven Valley Railway! 🐕🚂

Join us and our four-legged friend for a fantastic day out on the historic Seven Valley Railway in Shropshire, England! We’ve been wanting to bring our dog along for a steam train adventure for ages, and we’re so excited to share every moment with you.

We boarded at Bridgnorth Station bright and early – the staff were so welcoming and made sure we knew exactly where dogs are allowed on the trains and throughout the stations. Our pup loved watching the massive steam engines puff and whistle as they got ready for the journey, and we even got to see some of the restoration work happening in the engine shed!

The 16-mile round trip to Kidderminster was absolutely stunning, with rolling hills and picturesque countryside views from every window. We stopped off at Hampton Loade for a quick walk and a bite to eat at the station café (they have water bowls for dogs too!).

Important info for dog owners:

• Well-behaved dogs are welcome on most services for a small fee

• They must be kept on a lead at all stations and in passenger carriages

• Water bowls are available at key stations

• Some enclosed areas (like signal boxes) are not accessible for dogs
