.. you can purchase from me via Paypal ... the kit is 16.00. Canadian postage included.

This kit is for the repair of motor number 20N636P010, as stamped on the end of the fan motor's metal spinner.

Please read at least the next few paragraphs ...

PLEASE DO NOT contact me on EBAY ... I can't answer any questions there as it's against Ebay rules to promote sales off the site. My contact information:

Please note that this kit only works 90 percent of the time as the motor is sometimes defective. One way to know if the motor is faulty is to remove the brush module and spin the small metal flywheel on the fan motor.

If you hear a scraping sound the motor has at some point overheated and the coils inside are out of round. In this case the kit I provide will not work. But if the flywheel spins quietly, this kit may work for you.

.. I have semi-retired the kit as a new, improved motor design is now available, and the price has dropped on them. These motors are sealed so dirt cant get inside. These are available on Aliexpress or many sellers now offer them on ebay.

For example, https://www.ebay.ca/itm/384954383247 ...this is provided you have motor 20N636P010 , as marked on the spinner on the fan motor. If you decide to buy the motor, take a picture of the wiring connector to remind yourself how it goes in, as it only goes one way.

Either option is available to you. Cheers, John

This kit is for the repair of motor number 20N636P010, as stamped on the end of the fan motor's metal spinner.

This kit only works around 93 percent of the time.I am pleased that over five hundred and sixty people have successfully repaired their Roomba with this kit. I have sold over 600 hundred on eBay but now sell directly to save the fees.

All three mentioned errors indicate an issue with insufficient airflow. In most cases, this is due to the suction motor in your Roomba not spinning the fan.

Fortunately, there is an easy fix for this airflow-blocking problem. This inexpensive and "easy-to-do" repair kit will get your vacuum working again.

This is happening in virtually all cases because your Roomba's fan motor (due to too much resistance) cannot spin the fan blades. In numerous repairs, I found that the electrical motor usually works fine. But the motor simply cannot overcome the start-up resistance of the rotating shaft and mini-flywheel that spin the fan.

The object of this service kit is to reduce the fan motor's start-up "friction" by installing a new “high-speed micro bronze thrust bearing --- this replaces a defective plastic washer" and adding “two - new low-resistance mini washers” onto the metal fan motor shaft.

It took me some time and lots of testing to determine the root cause and find a convenient and consistent way to solve this. This easy-to-do repair kit is designed to help anyone (with only a few tools) restore their Roomba vacuum to perfect working condition.

This service kit works for the following iRobot vacuum models having motor number 20N636P010, as stamped on the end of the metal spinner. … e5 and e6 Roomba i1 and i1+ Roomba i2 and i2+ Roomba i3 and i3+ Roomba i4 and i4+ Roomba i5 andi5+ Roomba i6 and i6+ Roomba i7 and i7+ Roomba i8 and i8+ Roomba j7 and j7+ Roomba j8 and j8+ Roomba.

(NOTE: This kit does not work on the COMBO / MOP Roomba ...it uses a different motor.)

In this 12.5-minute video, I will demonstrate how simple it is for virtually anyone to step-by-step install this kit so that you can have your Roomba running perfectly again.

I repair robotic vacuums in Ontario, Canada and specialize in iRobot products. Virtually every service repair I have completed for Roombas with an 'insufficient airflow" concern has been solved by using this simple kit.

Easy-to-follow instructions are included in the service kit. And, of course, this short video is available to lead you to success in solving this concern with your Roomba vacuum.

So rather than spend a lot of cash on buying a complete brush cleaning module... give this low-cost repair a try.

from past sales ...

This is a very good fix for the Error 30 I was having on my iRobot! It was fairly easy to fix with help of the video and worked right away. This saved me having to spend a lot more money to replace the whole cleaning head. John was very responsive with any questions I had and shipped the repair kit promptly. eBay arcticdaisy
