There where A LOT rust on the aperture blades in this Leica-M Summicron 1:2 / 35.
I use a spanner to take off the retaining ring that hold the lens block to the focus system.

Then I use a rubber stopper to take off the nameplate, then a spanner to take off the retaining ring that hold's the front lens group.

Remember to set a small mark on the ring that hold's all the blades in place, before taking it out, so you can see where it should sit when assemble again.
Use a 2mm flat screwdriver to take out the special screws on the side of the lens block.

REMEMBER the direction of the blades when taking them out.

I use 99% Isopropyl alcohol to cleaning the blades, works great..

The assemble process is the reverse process..
