Join me as I visit Wakzee Nasi Lemak on Macalister Road, Penang, a popular nasi lemak stall with a heartwarming story. Run by former airline employees who turned to selling nasi lemak during the pandemic, Wakzee Nasi Lemak has flourished and become a beloved spot for this classic Malaysian dish.

Located inside MS Food Court, Wakzee Nasi Lemak offers a variety of pre-packed nasi lemak choices, including fried chicken, ikan bilis (anchovies) and egg, fried fish, salted fish sambal, sotong sambal, and prawn sambal. You can mix and match for a custom pack or add an extra piece of their fragrant spiced fried chicken.

I decided to go all out and opted for the "Mix" set, which includes all six ingredients in one pack! It was huge, delicious, and incredibly filling. The flavors were amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
