Bharli Mirchi | Stuffed Green Chillies Recipe | Maharashtrian Style | Mom's Special 💚

This Bharli Mirchi is straight from my childhood—and no one makes it better than my mom! 🌶️
Simple, flavourful, and absolutely delicious with plain dal-chawal or hot parathas.

📌 Recipe:

1️⃣ Dry roast 3–4 tbsp besan (gram flour) on low flame until aromatic.
2️⃣ Add:
• 2 tbsp peanut powder
• ½ tsp turmeric
• 1 tsp red chilli powder
• 1 tsp dhania powder
• ½ tsp jeera powder
• Salt to taste
• A few grains of sugar
• Juice of half a lemon
Mix well — this is your stuffing.

3️⃣ Take 6–8 large green chillies, slit and deseed them.

4️⃣ Stuff each chilli with the besan-peanut filling (about 80% full).

5️⃣ Heat oil in a pan, place the stuffed chillies, cover, and cook on low.
Flip intermittently for even roasting.

6️⃣ Sprinkle leftover masala on top and give it a quick toss.

✨ That’s it! Your stuffed green chillies (Bharli Mirchi) are ready to serve.
