The first ride of Every Mile is a Memory story begins with a ride from Bangalore to Agumbe. Travel has been my greatest teacher through out my life, craving way for new experiences and challenges. Meeting people, making new friends, learning their culture - it's a gain of deep sense of satisfaction with what I have learned from a trip.

Route: Bangalore - Nelamangala - Hassan - Belur - Sringeri - Agumbe

Agumbe has been in my list for quite a long time and it is this year (Oct) I got a chance to rev in my Apache in the rain-forest ghat. I decided to take the Belur-Chikmagalur ghat instead of the Shimoga-Thirthahalli route as I wanted to experience the ride through the reserve forest. Thanks to Kasturi akka for accomodating me at Dodda Manne for two days.

It has been a perfect weekend riding to Agumbe and exploring the rain-forest.
