Here's my latest tutorial, in which I try to replicate the infamous 'Greggs Cheese & Onion Bake'.

Recipe:

For the Filling:
500 - 550g or 3-4 Medium sized potatoes
200g White Mature Cheddar
50g Red Leicester Cheese
1 Large Onion
100g of Full Fat Cream Cheese
2 teaspoons of English Mustard
1 heaped teaspoon of Butter
2 tbsp of Milk
Salt & White Pepper to season.

Pastry:
750g of Ready Roll PUFF/FLAKY Pastry

Milk or Egg to glaze the pasties.

Bake for 20 Mins in pre heated oven. I put my temperature in between 180c - 190c (fan assisted) 350f - Gas Mark 4

*I ensured that the pasties were the same size as the Greggs pasty 13cm (H) x 10cm (W) and so the cheese and onion filling stipulated above filled NINE pasties. If you make the pasties larger, then you will make slightly less. NB You can actually freeze these unbaked pasties if you wish and then when required, just simply place in oven for 25 mins, which is slightly longer (as they are being baked from frozen).
