The Contortionist - "Integration" | Drum Cover

Another amazing song by The Contortionist. As with pretty much all the songs of them, this one has so many great (drum)parts in it.

I really like the short bursts followed by a cutting respectively sustaining opening on the hihats towards the end of each half of the bridge after the first vocal section.

One more really cool part would be the groovy section in five in the middle of the track. Despite its "simplicity" the rhythm-section goes so unbelievably well together here and the change from these clean guitarchords in the first half to the matching picking that goes along the rhythmic pattern in the second half is just brilliant!

The tricky part towards the end of the song obviously speaks for itself!

Last but not least the extra "early" snare hit alongside the open hihat in the outrosection is pretty neat! The phrasing of the keys in the outro is so cool and the leadsound adds some extra magic here!
