Malice is a consistent pattern of behaviour exhibited by people with narcissistic personality traits. It may manifest in various relationships and situations as a means of asserting dominance, manipulating others, or protecting their self-image.

Although it can be present in various degrees depending on the individual, it is common in malignant narcissists. This video outlines some of the ways it differs from vindictiveness and looks at the motivations and the different ways it manifests in narcissistic peoples attitudes and behaviours towards others.
