The long awaited tutorial of how I made my cottagecore x captain america dress. This dress is great for confident beginner sewists looking to take their sewing to the next level. It uses a combination premade patterns (up to size 30) and introduces self drafting, as well as a very basic corset styling. It also introduces embellishments and how to create your own.

PATTERNS:
You will need:

Sollya Romper: Front, back and corset pieces (you will not need sleeves or shorts) https://www.moodfabrics.com/blog/the-...

The poppy dress: Inner and Outer sleeves only (the inner sleeve is an important part of the pattern as that's how you will create the 'bubble'

Circle Skirt tutorial: you will need your waist measurement (or the measurement where you want the skirt to sit) as well has the length from waist to floor. You'll be making a full skirt. https://www.moodfabrics.com/circleski...

Common length on skirts:
46" will fit average height 5'9 and UP (sorry i'm from a tall family we are tall!)
44" will fit height 5'6"
42" will fit height 5'4" and so on
