My Type 1 Diabetes Diagnosis Story

On February 18, 2021, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Watch to hear my story.

Symptoms prior to diagnosis:
- weight loss (15 lbs in 2 weeks)
- extreme thirst
- leg muscle cramps / pain
- frequent urination
- tiredness
- blurred vision
- headaches

Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease that attacks your pancreas and because of this, your pancreas produces little to no insulin which is needed to break down glucose (carbs & sugar).
