Nymph of the Luo River（洛神赋图）is one of the best paintings by Gu Kaizhi (顧愷之) (344-406), who is considered as the founder of Chinese painting. This painting, created nearly 1,700 years ago, is widely recognized as one of the top 10 masterpieces of Chinese art history. Nymph of the Luo River illustrates a long poem written by the poet and prince Cao Zhi (192–232).
