Tom Scoggins was a real estate developer in eastern Colorado before the country bug hit him in the late 90's. While putting out some generic songs, he got better reactions for his lighthearted and bawdy songs. "Accidentally put my Wiener in a Bear" premiered just 9 weeks before 2000 and garnered many laughs around the US.

The laughter would stop, however on January 2009 when he was caught in the woods with a fursuit, a bottle of lube and a tranquilized bear, for which he served three years for.
