Equal Divisions
The short side of the 2x4 lumber (89mm) can be divided in three ways.
When dividing into 1/3
(1) Make marks with the guide
(2) Connect the marks to each other to form a line and mark.
(3) Apply the side of the device to the lumber and scribe
(4) Make two identical pieces, process them to fit together for completion.
Screw Hole Guide
It is possible to make evenly spaced marks.
The hole diameter has been made small so that it can make your marking more accurate.
When joining 2 pieces of 2x4 lumber
Mark the holes along the guide and use the marks as a guide to drive in the screws.
