The "Hypocrisy" of [Corn]BreadTube: Kidology’s Version

Last year, apolitical video essayist Kidology published two notorious critique videos: the first was titled “Kindly, Do Better'' and the second, “Why Breadtube Video Essays Become So Stale (The Growing Hypocrisy of BreadTube’s Thought Leaders)”. The former targeted the general political “left”, while the latter focused specifically on online leftist creators on YouTube.

Her “Kindly, Do Better” piece was heavily reacted to across the LeftTube/ BreadTube sphere, which, in part, led to her receiving a considerable amount of backlash. Kidology maintains that one of the primary sources of this grief came from the reaction video of the high-profile essayist F.D Signifier, who is irrevocably tied to the (Corn)BreadTube niche.

In this ungodly long video, I go over most of Kidology’s points of contention with both the online left and BreadTube, and discuss where my perspectives diverge from both hers and the ambiguous space of BreadTube.
