Learn how to make Basil Pesto Sauce Condiment Recipe by Manjula

Ingredients:
½ cup toasted pine nuts
2 cup fresh basil leaves
½ cup spinach
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp fresh black pepper
¼ cup olive oil

Instructions:
-In a food processor, blend basil, spinach, pine nuts, black pepper, lemon juice, and salt until well mixed but still textured, scraping the sides occasionally.
-Add olive oil and pulse briefly until combined, scraping the sides as needed.
-Use a rubber spatula to scrape the sides for even mixing. Pesto is now ready.
-Adjust ingredients to taste.

Notes:
Make pesto in larger quantities for later use. Freeze in ice cube trays and transfer the frozen cubes to freezer bags after a few hours.

Serving Suggestions:
-Toss with pasta, baked potatoes, grilled vegetables, salads, or spread on crackers or toast.
