Throughout our lives we judged and been judged based on first impressions. In this Ted talk, Piangfan Naksukpaiboon shares her experience being a misfit in middle school. It was the time where she push her limits despite all odds until she discovered the fact that she has Asperger’s Syndrome. This experienced changed her attitude towards people with disabilities completely that “There are no such things as a disability, because we are all differently - abled”.

ตลอดชีวิตของเรานั้น เรามักจะตัดสินคนอื่นและถูกคนอื่นตัดสินจากความรู้สึกแรกที่เราได้เจอ ในทอล์คนี้ คุณเพียงฝัน นาคสุขไพบูลย์ ได้บอกเล่าประสบการณ์ในวัยมัธยมที่เธอมีปัญหาในการเข้าสังคมซึ่งนับเป็นเวลาที่ยากลำบากและส่งผลให้เธอผลักดันตัวเองจนถึงขีดสุด จนกระทั่งเธอก็ได้ค้นพบความจริงว่าเธอมีอาการแอสเปอร์เกอร์ และ ทัศนคติของเธอที่มีต่อคนพิการก็เปลี่ยนไปอย่างสิ้นเชิงว่า “คนพิการนั้นไม่มีอยู่จริง เพราะพวกเราทุกคนล้วนมีความสามารถที่แตกต่างกันไป”

Piangfan Naksukpaiboon is a graduate student with a variety of talents and achievements. She is a third culture kid who moves around a lot due to her studies in Norway and America. She received full scholarships from United World Colleges, Shelby Davis UWC scholars program and NSTDA for her high school, undergraduate and graduate studies. Her move to Norway was when she discovered that she has Asperger’s Syndrome. However, she never let it define who she is.
