But then again, I didn’t see other kids decked out in armor and padding for every body part either. Simply put, we just don’t do this enough. Poor Niko ate dirt. Poor Treyu fell hard and took the first layer of dermis off of his back (I discovered more torn flesh when we got home), Zander biffed hard but toughed it out and even Kenia got hurt when Niko nailed her. By the grace of God, Ari wasn’t hurt. And I’m so glad because we would have heard about it for months ☠️ I got them home, cleaned wounds, treated them and bandaged them and everyone is A-ok. 🥵 Did anyone else get Indiana Jones vibes when I poured the holy water on Treyu’s injury? Think “The Last Crusade” and Sean Connery and the foaming white healing water on his GSW in the stomach…”Only the penitent man shall pass…” Love Indiana. It’s partly the reason I named India that.
