Описание к видео Loyalhanna Limited Railroad at Idlewild & SoakZone | NAPHA Shorts

Loyalhanna Limited Railroad at Idlewild & SoakZone in Ligonier, PA.
Opening in 1965 as the park's second train ride at the time, Loyalhanna Limited Railroad passes over the Loyalhanna Creek two times and makes its way through the densely wooded woods of Ligonier. Plus, it acts as transportation between the Hootin' Holler and Raccoon Lagoon sections of the park. The ride originally opened with one Crown Metal Products steam train. A used 1982 Chance Rides C.P. Huntington train from AMARC that ran at the Via Rail Canada station in Vancouver Canada during Expo 86 was purchased in 1990 for added capacity. In 1991, a new C.P. Huntington engine was purchased but still carries the original Crown Metal Products coaches. NAPHA spotlights Idlewild & SoakZone for still offering this scenic train ride and recently refurbishing this attraction in 2023.
