"Golden Slumbers" is the sweet little tune from the finale of
The Beatles Abbey Road record from 1969. The song is the beginning to a five-minute, three-part medley and has a smooth drum transition that rolls the song right into "Carry That Weight", followed by "The End" to close out the record. The songs were all recorded together in Abbey Road Studios, a musical monument to musicians worldwide. The building is used to house big name acts that commemorate the British quartet.

The song opens with
Paul McCartney on a lullaby-inspired piano piece, which quiets back down after the chorus to repeat the first verse. The song then steps up the energy, moving into "Carry That Weight."
