In this video, I create a Hawaiian lauhala bracelet. These have been worn and made in Hawai'i for generations; they are made from the leaves of the hala tree, also known as screwpine (Pandanus tectorius). Cared for properly, these can become family heirlooms, handed down from grandparents to grandchildren.
