Shini's cousin from Malaysia, Wenrou, comes to work in Singapore. Wending finds out that she shares an uncanny resemblance with his fiancee, Shulan, and is shocked. Shini observes that Wenrou is interested in Daxi and wishes to pair them up, in order to increase her standing in the Lian family. Wending violently objects, but he can't divulge the reason.
