2011 Subaru Outback mode door actuator location

This video provides the location of the mode door actuator for a 2011 Subaru Outback with electronic single-zone climate control.

This isn't the most informative video, as I work alone and didn't plan on recording anything at the start, but - what with the lack of other videos out there - I'm hoping someone can see the goal here and fill in the blanks.

The actuator is held in place by 3 screws, the top of which seems nearly inaccessible without removing the entire dash. Furthermore, you have to line up the linkage follower pegs in the airbox with the cam disk slots, something which I believe would be nearly impossible with the dash in place.

The Subaru part # of the actuator is 72131AJ09A.

Do the right thing and disconnect the battery, as you'll be exposing the side curtain and passenger airbags.
