We will start this lesson with a brief review of the proper fractions and the mixed numbers. During the video, we will also see the improper fractions, and how to convert a mixed number to an improper fraction and vice versa.

In this special case, we need to convert both mixed numbers to improper fractions and then, find the difference. Don’t forget that we will write the answer as a mixed number, because if we start with mixed numbers, we will finish with a mixed number.

That’s all for today, in the next videos we will talk more about mixed numbers.
