FIX: Technics FM Stereo Reception

If your Technics receiver won't go into FM Stereo mode, here's a simple fix. In this example we are using an SA-202.

First, be sure you are capable of opening the cabinet and working safely. While you will not need to use your bare hands on anything, there is dangerous voltage inside the receiver. Just be aware.

Remove the three small screws along the upper back of the cabinet which hold the top "screen" in place. You should not remove the wood side panels, front, rear or bottom. This fix is done from the top.
