Powder Day Forest Adventure On The Jones Mind Expander 2023

Forest adventures with your friends. What else could one ask for?

A brand new board from the future, that's what! I was lucky enough to spend another day testing out the Jones Mind Expander 2023, which has been updated to a camber profile instead of flat. I noticed that this gave the board way better grip and pop, making it far more versatile and all mountain capable.

Don't worry, there's still a bunch of rocker and taper in this board to give you the ultimate flotation that you want out of a powder board, plus they haven't changed the overall shape or outline of this board too much.

Like many wider category boards, its meant to be downsized- and I couldn't believe how swift and fun this board was, considering I rode it in a 154cm length. Normally I ride at least a 159cm board- but this thing felt like a missile in the trees, giving me ultra nimble agility.

This video is on the longer side, and it tries to illustrate the encompassing feeling of a full day on the hill. Although its late in the season, we are still getting some awesome end of the season powder days here in Whistler, and its so much fun to be trying out some of next seasons boards!
