Hi, I'm Brandon Moon, and tonight, we're diving into a classic! We'll be tying the October Caddis Soft Hackle Spider—a must-have for any fly angler.

🔗 Materials:
. Hook: Moonlit Premium Toata ML12
. Thread: Sly’s Classic Wax 6/0 Burnt Orange
. Dubbing: Rusty Brown Beaver Dubbing
. Hackle: Moonlit Quil Brown Natural Variant

🧵 Steps:
. Thread the Hook: Start ¾ up the shank, wrapping back to the bend for a tapered body.
. Create Segmentation: Use an alcohol marker to color the thread, then wrap it to create a segmented look.
. Add Thorax: Apply a small amount of Beaver Dubbing for a natural, buggy appearance.
. Prepare Hackle: Tie in the Moonlit Quil Hackle, wrapping carefully to splay the fibers.
. Finish: Secure with super glue and whip finish for a durable, clean fly.
. And voilà! You've just tied the perfect October Caddis Soft Hackle Spider.
