CAT D10 Dozer Cylinder Rebuild | Part 1 | Machining

Описание к видео CAT D10 Dozer Cylinder Rebuild | Part 1 | Machining

This video is part 1 of rebuilding a Caterpillar D10R dozer blade tilt hydraulic cylinder. We got this hydraulic cylinder 2nd hand in an auction and it has some damage from sitting out in the weather so it needs a complete repair and rebuild. In this video we are starting with the hydraulic cylinder barrel. First is gas axe cutting to remove the mounts, handle and steps on the outside of the barrel. We then setup the cylinder barrel in the lathe for machining out the welds to remove the head flange, barrel end and clevis. We then sand blast and crack test the barrel components ready to be used on the new barrel which we will machine up in Part 2.

In this video we are using:
- TM-26120G Centre Lathe
- WIA 500i Weldmatic welder
- SBC-990 Industrial Sandblasting Cabinet
