When we talk about run racing, we think - pinning a number to our vest and lining up alongside many others. Well in recent years a new kind of running race has emerged that allows you to compete with others, but entirely solo. And no, I’m not talking about Strava segments, I’m talking about something much bigger than that. I’m talking FKTs!

FKTs are Fastest Known Times. The attraction is that there’s no entry fee, no set date, no governing body. It’s just about you trying to set the best possible time over a set course. And typically these are notorious and challenging courses. To hold an FKT is no mean feat…And today GTN are giving one a go!
