3 Leslie West Licks From 1970

Описание к видео 3 Leslie West Licks From 1970

Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Leslie West Licks From 1970. I've had a number of requests to feature Leslie and with the recent reports of his health concerns - including a rush to the hospital - I felt it was finally time to feature a little of his fretboard magic and pay tribute to the bonafide blues-rock guitar legend - which is what you'll find in this lesson.

This lesson features a handful of licks from a live performance in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1970, when Mountain played a summer concert and rocked the house. From Leslie's biting blues-rock phrasing and smooth licks to those biting string bends, pinch harmonic squeals, fluid legato runs, and more - there's plenty you can learn from a guitarist like Leslie West.

The ideas in this lesson range from some interesting string-bending licks and phrases to some slick blues-rock licks played with lots of emotion and energy. That's one of the biggest things you'll gain from working on some of his music and ideas, and there's a good glimpse of those ideas hiding in this lesson.
