3 Johnny Winter Licks From 1970

Описание к видео 3 Johnny Winter Licks From 1970

Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Johnny Winter Licks From 1970. There's no question the late-great Johnny Winter is a blues-rock guitar legend of significant influence and high levels of acclaim. His music, life, and legacy left behind numerous interesting songs, albums, stories, achievements, and more - including being the sole individual that revitalized Muddy Waters career in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Moving from his historic live performance at Woodstock to blazing a trail of blues-rock music of his own design into the 1970s, 1980s, and beyond, Johnny's a commonly overlooked and frequently misunderstood musician and this lesson will attempt to reveal a few of his signature phrases and unique musical ideas on the fretboard.

The licks shared in this lesson came from a live performance somewhere in Europe in 1970 but I wasn't able to pinpoint the precise location this footage was filmed - one video mentioned Denmark, while another mentioned Switzerland. Regardless of where this live footage came from, there are some fiery blues-rock licks on display in this episode. You'll find a number of signature bending and pull-off ideas captured here, along with Johnny's trademark rhythmic "hiccups" using repetitive phrases in this lesson.
