Push up adalah salah satu latihan body weight yang sangat efektif untuk melatih otot secara keseluruhan, apabila dilakukan dengan benar. Ketika melakukan push up, kita berada pada “bridging position” dimana yang bertumpu pada lantai hanya jari kaki dan telapak tangan, sehingga diperlukan core muscle (otot perut dan punggung) yang sangat aktif untuk menahan tubuh kita di posisi yang tepat.
Melalui sesi Push Up untuk Pemula ini, kamu akan belajar untuk mengaktifkan core muscle dan menghubungkan otot2 lain yang bekerja selama latihan ke core muscle; tentu saja dengan modifikasi yang sesuai untuk level Pemula.
