Hello, everyone, We welcome you all to our TipyTops channel.

In this video, Let's see how to make "Tomato Rasam" at home in a few easy steps.


Ingredients:
Tamarind - small lemon size
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds (Rai) - ½ tsp
Cumin seeds (Jeera) - ½ tsp
Hing - (Asafoetida) - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 bunch
Tomato - 2
Green chilli - 1
Crushed garlic - 5 -8 cloves
Salt - to taste
Turmeric - ¼ tsp
Rasam powder - 1 tbsp
Jaggery - ½ tsp
Coriander leaves - ½ cup


Preparation Method:
In a bowl
Wash the tamarind soak it in hot water and keep it aside.
In a mixer jar, add tomatoes. 5-6 garlic cloves, 1 tbsp rasam powder & grind to a fine paste

In a pan, pour 1 tbsp of oil,
Fry ½ tsp of mustard seeds (rai)
1 tsp of cumin seeds (jeera) mix & fry well
1 tsp of hing (asafoetida)
One bunch of curry leaves
One green chilli slit in 2
Add two pieces of Crushed garlic.
Add ¼ tsp turmeric
Mix & fry for 2 minutes
Add the grounded tomato puree mix
Add two glasses of water
Salt as per taste
Mix well and add tamarind pulp
Add jaggery and coriander leaves.
Cook till it boils.
Switch off the stove and Close it with a lid.
Serve the tomato rasam hot with rice.

That's it. Your "Tomato Rasam" is ready.
